Greater Miami and Miami Beach Continues to Lead Florida’s MICHELIN Star Scene

Destination Earns 18 MICHELIN Stars with World’s First Kosher Recipient Mutra Joining This Year’s Selection

MIAMI – (May 29, 2026) – Greater Miami and Miami Beach once again claimed a prominent place in the global culinary conversation as the MICHELIN Guide revealed its 2026 Florida selection. The Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) celebrates this year’s honorees whose creativity, technique and cultural influence continue to elevate the destination’s standing among the world’s leading dining capitals.

Miami’s 2026 MICHELIN distinctions include 18 MICHELIN Stars, featuring acclaimed returning restaurants alongside newly recognized Mutra, marking the first kosher eatery to receive the distinction, where Chef Raz Shabtai earned a one MICHELIN Star distinction for his contemporary Middle Eastern cuisine. L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon Miami maintained its two-star status for the third consecutive year. Miami also maintained three Green Star distinctions, the most of any Florida destination, reflecting Greater Miami’s commitment to sustainability.

“Miami’s culinary community continues to push boundaries in ways that are drawing global attention,” said David Whitaker, president and CEO of the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau. “The diversity of talent, cultures and culinary perspectives represented throughout our restaurants has created one of the most dynamic dining destinations in the world. These distinctions reflect the dedication and innovation happening in kitchens across our community every night.”

Miami also maintained a strong presence among Bib Gourmand selections, which recognize restaurants offering high-quality cooking at a great value, with four new additions this year: Barra Callao, Cotoa, Double Luck and To Be Determined.

Additional restaurants from Greater Miami and Miami Beach were added to the MICHELIN Guide Recommended selection including Bistro Ocho Miami, Elyu Omakase and Mano Libera – further reflecting the breadth and evolution of the local dining landscape.

As the MICHELIN Guide continues its expansion across Florida, Greater Miami and Miami Beach remain at the forefront of the state’s culinary momentum – shaped by internationally recognized chefs, neighborhood institutions and a dining scene defined by constant reinvention.
