Hello everyone:
Each May, our industry takes a moment to reflect on the impact of what we do – and more importantly, why it matters. This year, National Travel & Tourism Week (May 3–9) and Global Meetings Industry Day (May 6) arrive as powerful reminders that travel is not just about visitation; it is about vitality.

These stories provide additional color and illustrate how tourism fuels the very fabric of our community in addition to helping fund public services, infrastructure and quality-of-life benefits every Miami-Dade County resident enjoys. At the heart of our industry is ...

Mia continues exploring Miami-Dade County – showcasing what makes our destination one of the world’s best places to live, work, play and stay!
This week she's perched beneath the rail line along a shaded corridor where walkers, cyclists, public art and gathering spaces connect neighborhoods from Downtown Miami to Kendall.
The first three eagle-eyed readers to guess where she's landed win a Miami branded item and are entered to win an exciting grand prize in December 2026.
Congratulations to last issue's winners – Daniela Florindez, Eileen de la Cuesta-Selva and Vicki Matthews – who correctly identified Mia was at Nu Stadium.
