Sabor & Cultura

Join us at Tower Theater on Calle Ocho on December 13 for Sabor y Cultura, a festive celebration of Latin food, drink, and heritage. This vibrant Christmas gala features tenor Manuel Arvelaiz and special guests, offering a magical evening of live music, captivating performances, and holiday cheer. Miccosukee Indian Arts & Crafts Festival

Experience Native American culture in the heart of the Florida Everglades at the 51st annual Miccosukee Indian Arts & Crafts Festival, December 26–28. Hosted at the historic Miccosukee Indian Village, this three-day celebration brings together Indigenous artists and performers from across the Americas. Enjoy live music and dance, authentic cuisine, an expansive arts and crafts market, thrilling alligator demonstrations, the Miccosukee Fashion Show, and family-friendly activities surrounded by the natural beauty of the Everglades. Celebrate the season and honor the rich traditions of Native heritage with a festival like no other.

Ring in the New Year, Miami Style!

Experience New Year’s Eve like nowhere else in Greater Miami & Miami Beach, where warm breezes, iconic beaches, and a vibrant city scene set the stage for an unforgettable start to 2026. From dazzling fireworks and live performances to elegant hotel galas and exceptional culinary experiences, Miami has a celebration for every style. Explore the top New Year’s Eve events and ring in the new year the Miami way.

Three Kings Parade 

On January 5, celebrate the arrival of the Three Kings with a magical afternoon for the whole family! Kids can enjoy creative crafts, photos, and more. Everyone can savor Roscón de Reyes, the traditional sweet ring-shaped bread, and warm hot chocolate available for purchase. Festivities begin at St. Agnes with the parade gathering, continue with children’s activities at Paradise Park, a special adoration and meet-and-greet with children with special needs, and a lively parade down Crandon Boulevard to the Village of Key Biscayne Civic Center, culminating in an encounter with the Three Kings. 5000 Role Models of Excellence Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship Breakfast

Honor legacy and leadership at the 33rd Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Scholarship Breakfast, presented by the 5000 Role Models of Excellence Foundation. This year’s event recognizes honoree Role Model H.T. Smith, Esq. Join the community on January 19, at the Miami Beach Convention Center for a morning dedicated to education, excellence, unity, and empowerment—an inspiring celebration of purpose and progress. Since United States Representative Congresswoman Frederica Wilson founded the program in 1993, the 5000 Role Models of Excellence Project has paired 10,000 at-risk students with mentors to steer them away from crime and violence.  

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Parade

Join Miami in honoring the life and lasting legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., one of the most influential leaders of the Civil Rights Movement. Each year, on the third Monday in January, communities nationwide come together in reflection and celebration. This year’s Miami parade begins at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 19, traveling ten historic miles along routes Dr. King once walked during his many visits to the city. Miami Jewish Film Festival 

Get ready for the 29th Miami Jewish Film Festival, returning January 14–29 bigger and bolder than ever! Celebrate the magic of global cinema with an unforgettable lineup of in-person screenings and an expansive virtual festival, bringing world-class films straight to you wherever you are.

Featured Festival: Art Deco Weekend 

Art Deco Weekend returns for its 49th edition, transforming Ocean Drive into a celebration of all things design, culture and community on January 9-11. This year’s theme, “Celebrating Air, Land & Sea,” explores how technology revolutionized travel in the 1920s and 1930s, which impacted how art traveled across continents. This shift created ripples of change that brought the iconic Art Deco style to South Beach, shaping the local design culture over the past 100 years. Art Deco Weekend 2026 is a free festival showcasing vintage exhibitions, architecture tours, lectures, family-friendly activities and more. Join over 50,000 visitors to soak in the cultural heartbeat of South Beach.

Miami Begins with Me Customer Service Champion Program

Greater Miami and Miami Beach need YOU to help keep visitors smiling and our tourism economy thriving! Sign up for the Miami Begins with Me Customer Service Champion Program, presented by the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau. Our next free in-person training takes place on January 27 at the Black Police Precinct Courthouse & Museum in Historic Overtown. Learn about the economic impact of tourism, major events, top attractions, Miami’s rich heritage and neighborhoods, and sharpen your customer service skills. London Global Dance Company: The Oneness

Experience a season of premieres and celebrated works as Peter London Global Dance Company returns to the Adrienne Arsht Center for The Oneness, running December 19–21 as part of the Dance at Arsht series. This vibrant program celebrates connection, culture, and innovation in dance. The performance features world premieres. Japan Fes Florida 

On December 13–14, Grand Avenue—from McFarlane Road to Rice Street—transforms into a vibrant market filled with yakisoba, takoyaki, sushi tacos, artisan goods, anime merch, and cultural specialties. Building on its Miami Beach debut earlier this fall, the festival continues its mission to highlight regional flavors and small vendors. Japan Fes Florida is part of one of the world’s largest Japanese food festival series, known for showcasing standout vendors featured in national food and media outlets. Join us for this tasy event. Give Miami Day 5K & VIC Highlights

VIC was excited to have our students participate in this year’s Give Miami Day 5K, helping kick off the energy and momentum leading into Give Miami Day. Their enthusiasm set the tone for a successful campaign where we proudly met—and exceeded—our $10,000 fundraising goal. Thank you to everyone who supported and contributed to this incredible achievement!
