Miccosukee Indian Arts & Crafts Festival
Experience Native American culture in the heart of the Florida Everglades at the 51st annual Miccosukee Indian Arts & Crafts Festival, December 26–28. Hosted at the historic Miccosukee Indian Village, this three-day celebration brings together Indigenous artists and performers from across the Americas. Enjoy live music and dance, authentic cuisine, an expansive arts and crafts market, thrilling alligator demonstrations, the Miccosukee Fashion Show, and family-friendly activities surrounded by the natural beauty of the Everglades. Three Kings Parade
On January 5, celebrate the arrival of the Three Kings with a magical afternoon for the whole family! Kids can enjoy creative crafts, photos, and more. Everyone can savor Roscón de Reyes, the traditional sweet ring-shaped bread, and warm hot chocolate available for purchase. Festivities begin at St. Agnes with the parade gathering, continue with children’s activities at Paradise Park, a special adoration and meet-and-greet with children with special needs, and a lively parade down Crandon Boulevard to the Village of Key Biscayne Civic Center, culminating in an encounter with the Three Kings. 5000 Role Models of Excellence Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship Breakfast
Honor legacy and leadership at the 33rd Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Scholarship Breakfast, presented by the 5000 Role Models of Excellence Foundation. This year’s event recognizes honoree Role Model H.T. Smith, Esq. Join the community on January 19, at the Miami Beach Convention Center for a morning dedicated to education, excellence, unity, and empowerment—an inspiring celebration of purpose and progress. Since United States Representative Congresswoman Frederica Wilson founded the program in 1993, the 5000 Role Models of Excellence Project has paired 10,000 at-risk students with mentors to steer them away from crime and violence.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Parade
Join Miami in honoring the life and lasting legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., one of the most influential leaders of the Civil Rights Movement. Each year, on the third Monday in January, communities nationwide come together in reflection and celebration. This year’s Miami parade begins at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 19, traveling ten historic miles along routes Dr. King once walked during his many visits to the city. Featured Festival: Art Deco Weekend
|
Art Deco Weekend returns for its 49th edition, transforming Ocean Drive into a celebration of all things design, culture and community on January 9-11. This year’s theme, “Celebrating Air, Land & Sea,” explores how technology revolutionized travel in the 1920s and 1930s, which impacted how art traveled across continents. This shift created ripples of change that brought the iconic Art Deco style to South Beach, shaping the local design culture over the past 100 years. Art Deco Weekend 2026 is a free festival showcasing vintage exhibitions, architecture tours, lectures, family-friendly activities and more. Join over 50,000 visitors to soak in the cultural heartbeat of South Beach.
