Fontainebleau Miami Beach will host a series of Cellar 1954 Dinners, an homage to the year the iconic hotel opened. These exclusive dinners will pair prestigious winemakers and producers with the celebrated chefs and cuisines of Fontainebleau Miami Beach’s signature restaurants. The series kicked off with a lavish dinner on September 19 featuring world-renowned winemaker Paul Hobbs and his eponymous collection of award-winning domestic wines. Prime 54’s Executive Chef Michael Paley has curated a complementary menu with courses from land and sea such as cured swordfish carpaccio, grilled Berkshire pork, and slow roasted & smoked chateaubriand.

The next dinner takes place at Mirabella Coastal Italian by Michael White on Friday, November 8 at 7PM and welcomes Enrique Tirado, Viña Don Melchor’s CEO and Winemaker. Throughout the multi-course experience, Tirado will guide guests through an exclusive selection of vintage pours by Viña Don Melchor, the first iconic wine of the Chilean industry. A ‘cheers’ to milestones, 2024 marks Viña Don Melchor’s 35th harvest anniversary, as well as Fontainebleau Miami Beach’s 70th anniversary. El Espacio 23 (EE23) — the contemporary art space founded by leading philanthropist, entrepreneur and art collector Jorge M. Pérez — is unveiling its highly anticipated fifth exhibition, Mirror of the Mind: Figuration in the Jorge M. Pérez Collection.

Inspired by the entangled and inseparable relationship between the physical and emotional aspects of the body, the cross-media exhibition examines how artists from different generations and contexts utilize figuration and portraiture to explore the complexities of the human condition. Mirror of the Mind features works from over 120 artists, including Jared McGriff, Shirin Neshat, Anselm Kiefer, Marta Minujin, La Chola Poblete and Carrie Mae Weems.
