As we continue to navigate through uncertain times, we invite you to join us for an opportunity to provide input as we lay the groundwork and map out our plans for the upcoming year. This planning workshop will be held virtually over three days. Participate in a Welcome Session followed by 11 breakout sessions, led by GMCVB senior staff, focusing on all of our sales and marketing initiatives.

Workshop 1 - Navigating Leisure Travel Trends and How they are Shaping the Future of Travel Tuesday 8/4

Join us for a discussion between between American Airlines Vacations, Expedia and Hotelbeds about the data and trends industry professionals should keep an eye on.  The session will provide valuable and timely insights during a rapidly changing time.

Workshop 2 - Navigating in the "New Normal" in Selling Conventions Tuesday 8/4

The Convention Sales team then and now - What we are doing in these challenging times.  Promoting our destination using new ways of reaching out to clients and selling Greater Miami and Beaches during uncertain times.  Working with our hotel partners and the Miami Beach Convention Center with new procedures in place for site visits, and the new protocol.  This session will feature guest presenters from the Miami Beach Convention Center, Miami Airport Convention Center and Miami Convention Center.

Our department focuses on advocating, supporting and strengthening the economic sustainability of our multicultural communities and heritage related businesses to tourism within Greater Miami and the Beaches. We want to listen to your thoughts on key marketing and capacity building strategies in the arts, business and travel segments that will benefit the cultural heritage diasporas and foundation attractions of Miami.  Our diverse neighborhoods and attractions make up the heart and soul of Miami's national/international interest to visitors and continues to be an integral part of the county's tourism offerings.  Please join us for more dialogue.
