Pérez CreARTE Grants offer $3.5M for the Arts
 
The Jorge M. Pérez Family Foundation aims to develop South Florida as a world-class urban center. In 2023 – 2025, the Foundation’s CreARTE Program will invest over $3.5 million in Miami-Dade organizations working to cultivate this ecosystem by expanding residents’ access to the arts and making our city a global hub for artistic excellence.  The Foundation believes that effective arts education can inspire creative development in local youth, drive a lifelong interest in and appreciation for the arts, and build audiences for the future. The Foundation seeks to support top artistic talent and attract artists to Miami by creating local fellowship and residency programs.  Applications close May 26. Through Open For Business, funded by a grant from Wells Fargo, The Miami Foundation is supporting historically underinvested small businesses and nonprofits with grants and loans. The goal of the Miami Open for Business Asset Building Loan for Entrepreneurs (ABLE) is to provide low-interest financing for minority-led nonprofits and small businesses to buy a vehicle or inventory, renovate their workspace, refinance predatory debt for assets, or finance a business transfer or worker co-op conversion.  Click here to learn more.

The Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs has released guidelines and deadline schedules for the 2023-2024 spring cycle of arts and cultural grants programs available to Miami-Dade County based non-profit cultural groups. Guidelines containing information regarding eligibility requirements, funding requests and program criteria can be downloaded here.
