Today, GMCVB Director of LGBTQ+ Marketing Dan Rios joins a gender-diverse panel at Showcase, part of PCMA’s Power of Purpose: Business Events Industry Week, discussing how to create business events that are gender-expansive and inclusive.

Independent.co.uk Miami guide

Communications assists Lucy Thackray March 2-10 on assignment for the Independent.co.uk (70m unique visitors) compiling a “City Guide to Miami, Florida,” as well as a Neighbourhood Guide to the Wynwood Arts District.” 

Convention Sales to Chicago

Convention Sales and hotel partner Mr. C Miami head to Chicago March 14-18, hosting luncheons in Rosemont and Downtown with presentations at Smith Bucklin, NHS Global, Bostrom, McDermott, and Will & Emery. Always a highlight, the team also entertains 20 clients at the Miami Heat vs Chicago Bulls game on the 18th. 

Communications hosts Canada’s Reno+Décor 

The communications team assists Sara Duck, national contributing editor for Reno+Decor magazine, March 12-16 working on a Miami Beach design feature. (Circulation: 34,410 UVM (Mustat) / 2,640 UVM (Statshow) / 450 UVM). Sara is also a frequent contributor to National Post – one of Canada’s largest daily newspapers.

Travel industry sales targets southeast

Celebrating its 30th anniversary, the Peninsula Shows make its way to Atlanta and the Carolinas, March 13-16, with travel industry sales showcasing Greater Miami and Miami Beach at B2B travel trade events in Atlanta, Greenville, Charlotte and Greensboro.

UK luxury Country & Town House

The communications team works with Country & Town House (circ: 60k / 500k unique online visitors) on a comprehensive Miami Weekend Guide March 13-16. Country & Town House is aimed at readers who are "affluent double lifers" interested in luxury living in both city and country.

Travel industry sales joins Brand USA in Mumbai and New Delhi, March 19-23. The sales mission offers the opportunity to engage key Indian travel trade and press, assist with product development and generate new business opportunities.

Meetings Industry Council gathers

Convention sales underscores the importance of engaging at key industry trade events, attending the 23rd Annual Conference and Trade Show of the Meetings Industry Council of Colorado in Denver. The team showcased the destination to 1000+ attendees and a cross-section of clients at the largest meetings industry gathering in the Rocky Mountain region.

Selling Miami in key Mexico markets

Travel industry sales heads to Mexico City and Guadalajara March 22-23 with Visit Florida. The sales mission provides an exclusive opportunity to meet one-to-one with key trade partners in two of Mexico’s most important cities.

Jewelers International at MBCC

The GMCVB welcomes Jewelers International as it returns to the Miami Beach Convention Center for the Spring Showcase, March 26-28, with Convention Services working with organizers to meet all destination needs.
