To commemorate what would have been Trayvon’s 28th birthday, the Trayvon Martin Foundation (TMF) has planned a weekend of events in his honor.  On Feb. 4 the Annual Peace Walk and Peace Talk will include motivational speakers, local bands and fun for the entire family.  The Annual Remembrance Dinner and Champion for Justice Awards will be held Feb. 5 with the GMCVB’s Connie Kinnard honored as the “2023 Champion for Justice and Peace of the Year” for her dedication and commitment to the TMF. Proceeds raised support various community programs.
