Communications Assists French-Canadian Travel Writer
 
The Communications team assists French-Canadian travel writer and sports broadcaster Michel Dufaux November 18-21 working on a feature article for Siege Hublot (10K UVM), along with social mentions on @siegehublot (4.4K) and @jmdufaux (18.2K). He’ll also be producing a four-minute radio segment for BPM Sports Radio Network (50K listenership) highlighting Miami’s sports tourism offerings.

Join the GMCVB, GMBHA and FRLA Tuesday, December 6 for our Annual Holiday Reception and Toy Drive at Smith & Wollensky Miami Beach from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. Benefitting our United Way agency partners, admission is $15 per person plus one unwrapped, new toy and includes two drink tickets, light bites and the chance to win amazing door prizes.

Aer Lingus Press FAMs Land in Miami
 
As Aer Lingus restarts thrice-weekly non-stop service to Miami, the Communications team works in partnership with Ireland’s national airline to host an Ireland/UK Press FAM November 11-16 and a French Press FAM November 13-16.

Convention Sales at HPN
 
The Convention Sales team attends the Hospitality Performance Network (HPN) Global Partner Conference in Denver November 14-17, leveraging their partnership with HPN for 1:1 appointments with HPN associates. 

Communications Hosts UK’s Olive Magazine 
 
Communications hosts Alex Crossley, digital editor at Olive Magazine, November 11-14 while working on a three-page print feature, as well as an online guide to Michelin rated restaurants and a where-to-stay guide (2 million monthly unique users, 41,000 print circulation, 186k IG followers).

World Cup Showcased During Brand USA Event
 
The Communications team showcases Greater Miami and Miami Beach during Brand USA's World Cup activation in Sao Paulo November 25. The team’s in-market Brazilian rep will meet with travel and sports media, leveraging relationships in advance of this year’s World Cup and Miami’s 2026 host city designation.
