Miami-Dade Business Navigator Info Session
 
If your business is located in Miami-Dade County and is majority-owned by a woman, veteran or socially and economically disadvantaged individual, make sure to log on to this info session. The Miami-Dade Business Navigator (MDBN) program is an exciting new local initiative funded, in part, through a grant with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). The program brings together seven local groups working to expand their reach and support small and micro-businesses like yours. Miami Dade College’s (MDC) Business Innovation & Technology (BIT) Center will launch the College’s first Student Operated Digital Agency (SODA) in the heart of downtown Miami. First of its Kind Agreement That Will Focus on Improving Financial Literacy, Outreach and Capital Access Opportunities Across Communities. Recently, Administrator Isabella Casillas Guzman , head of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and the voice for America's 32.5 million small businesses in President Biden's Cabinet, signed a Strategic Alliance Memorandum (SAM)--an authority unique to the SBA among federal agencies--with President Reuben A. Shelton III, Esq., on behalf of the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC)'s Council of Presidents, comprised of nine historically Black fraternities and sororities, sometimes referred to as the "Divine Nine."
