Diversa Turismo Discover USA 
 
The Tourism Sales team showcases Greater Miami and Miami Beach at the inaugural Diversa Turismo Discover USA Workshop in Campinas, Brazil October 6-7. Brazilian tour operator Diversa Turismo creates tailormade products for FITs and groups trips, exclusively for travel agents. Diversa has a database of more than 4,000 travel agency clients throughout Brazil.

Convention Sales Team Heads to IMEX
 
The Convention Sales team helps welcome meeting planners from throughout the world with a brand-new, tradeshow destination booth at IMEX, October 10-14 in Las Vegas. Joining the GMCVB are 12 hotel and DMC partners including: InterContinental Miami, Biltmore Hotel, JW Marriott Turnberry Miami, Advantage Destination & Meeting Services, Events & Logistics, Trump National Doral, Mondrian South Beach, Grand Beach Hotel Group, SLS South Beach, Royal Palm South Beach, The Goodtime Hotel and Nautilus by Arlo. 


Tourism Sales Leads Scandinavia Sales Mission
 
The Tourism Sales team leads a multi-city sales mission to Scandinavia promoting Greater Miami and Miami Beach October 10 - 14. The delegation will be meeting with key tour operators and travel advisors in Copenhagen, Stockholm and Oslo, with additional meetings planned during Discover America Workshops in Malmö, Gothenburg and Stockholm.


Barcelona Turisme
 
The GMCVB’s LGBTQ+ Marketing Director joins the Miami-Dade Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce and IGLTA to welcome the Barcelona Tourist Board. Meeting October 13, the group will focus on LGBTQ+ tourism initiatives and best practices.

Communications Hosting Carnival Miami Press
 
The Communications team hosts entertainment and lifestyle press from New Jersey, Trinidad and Tobago covering Carnival Miami October 6-10, as well as Greater Miami’s unique heritage neighborhoods. The GMCVB is a proud sponsor of Carnival Miami.

The GMCVB welcomes IFS Global Software World Conference  to the Miami Beach Convention Center October 10-14, with Convention Services working to meet all their destination needs. IFS is an enterprise software solutions company helping businesses bring together their customers, people and assets into a single solution.

Communications hosts Toronto-based influencer Brian McIntosh (@whereintheworldisb) October 7-10, producing digital content showcasing Miami Carnival and Miami’s Black/Latin Caribbean Culture and Black American businesses to share on Instagram (68.3K).

Convention Sales hosts 40 conference and meeting planners at an exclusive Washington, DC luncheon October 6, and another 25 in Alexandria on October 7, featuring the destination to key decision-makers for future meetings and conventions.
