107th Annual AAP Meeting Returns to MBCC
 
Convention Services welcomes the American Academy of Periodontology’s (AAP) Annual Meeting when they return live and in-person Nov. 4-7 to the Miami Beach Convention Center. For more than a century, AAP’s annual gathering has joined periodontal professionals from across the globe for a weekend of learning and comradery. AAP last held their meeting in Miami in 2011.
 
 
 
Communications Assists Argentine TV program
 
The Communications Team assists Por El Mundo TV from Argentina, November 3-12. While in Miami, they’ll be researching the destination and filming for the program, which airs weekdays on Telefe in Latin American, Mexico and the Caribbean. The travel program has been on the air since 2003, showcasing a different destination each week with multiple reruns. 
 
 
 
Communications Hosting NNPA News Wire & BlackPressUSA.com
 
Communications will host Dwight Brown November 5-9, covering the Miami Int’l “Gems” Film Festival while also researching a travel feature on the destination for NNPA News Wire (200+ newspaper-syndication with 22M readers per week), BlackPressUSA.com (NNPA’s own website), and his website DwightBrownInk.com. 
 
 
 
Communications Participates in Visit USA Media & Trade Event
 
The Communications Team will be represented during Visit USA’s Media & Trade Event in Munich, Germany November 9. Taking place one day following U.S. borders reopening to international travelers, the event builds momentum among Germans keen to travel to Miami, and shares the latest destination news with key media. 
 
 
 
Communications Participates in Montreal Tourism and Travel VIP Event
 
The Communications Team will be represented at the Tourism and Travel VIP Trade & Media Networking Luncheon hosted by the Commercial Service at the U.S. Consulate General in Montreal November 4. The event showcases U.S. travel destinations during the International Tourism and Travel Show in Montreal to Quebec media and travel professionals looking to network with U.S. travel destinations.
 
 
 
Communications Highlights Craft Brewery Scene and Wynwood
 
Communications recently hosted freelancer Jared Ranahan. A regular contributor to Forbes (70,312,447 UVM), Thrillist (7,262,741 UVM), USA Today 10Best (1,248,625 UVM) and others, Ranahan was researching a story showcasing craft beer tourism in Miami, as well as the development of the Wynwood neighborhood.
