The Comcast RISE Investment Fund Will Award $1 Million in $10,000 Cash Grants to 100 Minority-Owned Small Businesses
 
The Comcast RISE Investment Fund provides monetary grants to help small, minority-owned businesses grow as thy navigate the challenges of the pandemic.  The investment Fund is the latest extension of Comcast RISE (Representation, Investment, Strength, Empowerment), the multi-year, multi-faceted initiative launched in 2020 to provide small businesses owned by entrepreneurs of diverse backgrounds the opportunity to apply for marketing, technology and capital resources. Comcast RISE is part of a larger $100 million Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiative launched by Comcast to fight injustice and inequality against any race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation or ability.
 
 
 
Doral Partners with CAMACOL to Launch Small Business Affiliate Membership
 
The City of Doral and Camacol Doral have joined forces to present a new membership offer for small and micro-owned businesses in Doral. The special, free membership runs through December 31, 2021 and includes various benefits to help the smaller business with the support they need to succeed, especially following the pandemic. Miami Bayside Foundation Hosts 2nd Spanish Small Business Entrepreneurial Training
 
After a successful launch of their Spanish Small Business Training over the summer, the Miami Bayside Foundation began their second training program in Spanish on September 14th  and will run through October 6th.    The businesses enrolled in the program will receive training in topics such as Digital Marketing, Accounting & Financial Projections, Legal and Small Business Certification all taught by industry experts. Connie Kinnard, VP of Multicultural Tourism & Development,  Petra Brennen, Director of the GMCVB’s Tourism Business Enhancement which assists small tourism related businesses with capacity building, attended virtually as well as Herlinda Lombardi, Coordinator of Multicultural Tourism who extended welcome remarks.  Learn more here.

Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business is now accepting applications. Small Businesses can gain practical business skills to help take their business to the next level. In professional workshops, they will learn from some of the brightest minds in business, learn about access to financial capital, and build a powerful network of professional support. Selected candidates full program tuition will be covered by the Goldman Sachs Foundation! Created as a key pillar of KKR's COVID-19 Relief Effort, KKR Small Business Builders (SBB) aims to support entrepreneurs and their small businesses around the world. The grants are designed to help business owners sustain their enterprises, maintain or create jobs, and spur economic opportunity as they respond to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis and recover from its resultant economic dislocation.
