15th Annual Best of the Best Music Fest Returns to Miami
 
Best of the Best Music Fest, now in its 15th year, returns to Miami’s Bayfront Park October 10. Sponsored by the GMCVB, the 10-hour-long music festival is one of South Florida’s most highly anticipated shows and features the best performances in Caribbean music. Currents Premieres at MOCA
 
Miami-based choreographer and interdisciplinary artist Hattie Mae Williams premieres her latest work, Currents, a guided interactive experience and two films that lead audiences through landscapes inspired by our relationship to the natural world. Miami City Ballet Celebrates Another Season 
 
The Miami City Ballet (MCB) celebrates its 36th season of dance with performances at all three of its home theaters, including the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts. Before its return to the theater, MCB will open its season October 14, with the online premiere of its underwater jewel, A Midsummer Night’s Dream by George Balanchine. The Black World Guide Now Online
 
The Miami-Dade County Black Affairs Advisory Board partnered with several community organizations to compile a comprehensive list of the civic, professional, cultural and business organizations that comprise the African Diaspora in Miami-Dade County. The National Association of Black Hotel Owners, Operators and Developers (NABHOOD) will host is 25th Annual International African American Hotel Ownership & Investment Summit & Trade Show October 6-8 at the Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay Hotel, followed by the 8th Annual International Multicultural and Heritage Tourism Summit and Trade Show October 8-10.
