REEF Kicks Off $1M Program to Help Local Miami Restaurants

Miami-based REEF Technology and its subsidiary REEF Neighborhood Kitchens recently announced that applications for its NBRHD Restaurant Development Program are open. The $1 million program provides a $10,000 marketing campaign and other services through the platform for REEF’s Neighborhood Kitchens, a national delivery-only network of 100+ neighborhood kitchens around the U.S. The NBRHD Restaurant Development Program launches in Miami and will scale to other selected markets,

In partnership with donors and local organizations, the Miami Foundation's scholarships help local youth access opportunity and achieve their higher education goals. FIU's Bar Project 2021

The Chaplin School’s Bacardi Center of Excellence has launched its newest initiative: Mission New Normal: Bar Project 2021. This nine-week program is a combination of online content and prerecorded virtual sessions with live fireside chats that includes a competition and combines academia with industry expertise.  The Bar Project 2021 is an opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience, tackling real industry challenges under the guidance of seasoned experts. This program is FREE for students. Students from any major, year, undergraduate, graduate or doctoral program at FIU are eligible to participate.  The program kicks off on February 3, 2021., to learn more visit the Bar Project 2021.

 
 
 
Dolphins Social Impact Committee, Lennar Foundation Join to Sponsor Florida Memorial University Certificate Program in Construction Trades

The Miami Dolphins Social Impact Committee announced that they have joined the Lennar Foundation to fund Florida Memorial University's Certificate Program in Construction Trades. This program, the first of its kind at a Historically Black College in Florida, will play a key role in economic empowerment by providing equitable access for minorities in South Florida through employment in the construction business. Tuition, along with meals and transportation, will be free for all participants in this 12-month certification program. The donation is in collaboration with Miami Dolphins players, the organization, the Lennar Foundation and a NFL Foundation social justice grant.  Learn more.
