Small Business Training Available This Spring
 
The Miami Bayside Foundation’s Small Business Training Program is accepting applications for its Spring semester.  The program  is supported by the GMCVB’s Tourism Business Enhancement Initiative with the mission to advocate, support the economic sustainability and access of multicultural communities and heritage related businesses within the Greater Miami & Beaches as part of the Multicultural Tourism & Development Department. At the end of the training, businesses can participate in a business pitch presentation to lenders for funding opportunities. Apply to CIC Miami's 19FOR51 Grant Program
 

CIC Miami has partnered with General Assembly to provide free business growth services and education to 19 historically under-resourced entrepreneurs for 51 business days. CIC Miami is accepting applications for 19for51, a grant program to support the individuals, entrepreneurs and small businesses who are at the heart of our communities. The 51 business day grant includes incubation-like services for up to two team members, digital skills training, business development resources, network-building and physical workspace, valued at $3,800, per person.  Applications Are Open December 2020 Through January 31, 2021. Building Together: Miami-Dade Tech Leaders Present Shared Vision for Dynamic, Diverse, Inclusive Ecosystem in #MiamiTech Manifesto
 
A collective of tech leaders, builders, and advocates that have contributed to the foundation of Miami-Dade’s dynamic, growing tech and innovation ecosystem collaborated on a #MiamiTech Manifesto released earlier this week. Miami Beach Launches Race to Trace
 
The City of Miami Beach announced the launch of Race to Trace, a new program intended to provide focused COVID-19 contact tracing and other health resources to Miami Beach hotels, restaurants as well as cultural venues. Funded under a grant from The Rockefeller Foundation, the program will provide businesses with a dedicated strike team of seasoned contact tracers from the Florida Department of Health (DOH) in Miami-Dade County to keep employees and patrons safe.   The Rockefeller Foundation awarded grants to the City of Miami Beach and Florida Department of Health (FDOH) to further the goals of its National COVID-19 Testing & Tracing Action Plan. The Plan supports reopening the economy through a combination of effective testing, contact tracing and strengthening of data platforms and public education campaigns to better track and monitor the spread of the disease.
