Tourism Business Enhancement Arts Entrepreneurial Workshop

Are you an artist/creative entrepreneur or do you work with a cultural arts organization in Greater Miami and the Beaches? The GMCVB Multicultural Tourism & Development Department as part of its Tourism Business Enhancement Program,  will host a 2-day small business workshop with a focus for those in the creative space, August 19-20 │5pm-7pm. This deep dive workshop will provide participants an opportunity to examine and grow their art ideas as a sustainable business enterprise.  Participants will learn applications in tapping into their creative entrepreneurial strengths, business planning to assist them in defining and/or refining business goals as well as applicable business tools during and after the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2-day workshop will be facilitated via Zoom platform and led by Business & Art Consultant & Trainer, George Gadson. Limited seats available. Interested persons may email petra@gmcvb.com.

 
 
 
Black Enterprise Webinar

Black Enterprise is excited to announce a new partnership with Chase for Business to offer Advancing Black Entrepreneurs — a timely education program designed to help Black business owners recover and move forward in the wake of the current global pandemic. Joining them in this important effort are National Minority Supplier Development Council, National Urban League and the US Black Chambers, Inc. Together, they’ve developed a series of information-packed sessions – the first of which focuses on Reclaiming the Future: How Your Business Can Rise to the Challenges of COVID-19. This ninety-minute guided digital session, offered at no cost, will cover various topics that will offer financial guidance and expertise needed for businesses to grow. Google has launched a new Black-owned attribute for Business Profiles on Google to help customers easily extend support to the Black business community. The Miami Bayside Foundation Graduates it's First  Virtual Small Business Training Class
 
On July 7th, The Miami Bayside Foundation kicked off a virtual edition of its postponed spring Entrepreneurial Small Business Training. The 10-session workshop is designed to help small businesses sharpen their entrepreneurial skills in order to grow and become sustainable and is facilitated by industry professionals with a guided business-oriented syllabus to help entrepreneurs successfully thrive, and specifically for this series consisted of businesses that previously signed up in the Spring. On Thursday, August 6th, businesses will participate in a business pitch presentation to lenders for funding opportunities followed by a Graduation ceremony. The Miami Bayside Foundation Small Business program is supported by various partners including the GMCVB’s Tourism Business Enhancement Initiative with the mission to advocate, support and strengthen the economic sustainability and access of multicultural communities and heritage related businesses within the Greater Miami & Beaches.
